the only truth I know is my own experience

Freedom and Liberation August 10, 2008

(poem by Shri Mataji)

This is the poetic Intro of a a beautiful documentary “Freedom and Liberation” on the life and work of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the founder of Sahaja Yoga. The screeing in Vienna will take place next Wednesday, 13 August.

I saw the film last year on the German TV (Bayerische Runfunk) and was impressed by its objectiveness and deep insights into Sahaja Yoga, how can it be percepted by a neutral viewer and how captivating and still very normal the experiences of a yogic life are.                                                                                                                                                           FREEDOM AND LIBERATION is the work of young German director, Carolin Dassel, who shows the many Freedom & Liberationstages of this adventurous life in a very subtle way. The timeless impressions and beautiful music, as well as the original locations and archival material, combine to produce an atmosphere of meditative authenticity.

If you are not in Vienna at that time, and still iterested – you can order the film here.

LOVE; axinia

Thanx for the info. I will try to procure it here. Germans make great movies…let’s see how this is.
I suspect you had a hand in the movie’s Vienna premier??

(When I read the title, my mind flew to Southern Russia….pleased that we could finally talk politics. But…)

“I suspect you had a hand in the movie’s Vienna premier?? – no, not this time :)”

“pleased that we could finally talk politics. But… ” – not this time. in general, to talk politics is rather useless. I am the doer. If there is soemthing I can really do, I will. If there is nothing, i will do it on the other level, but not just discuss..
