How many Indigo Children do you know? August 31, 2009

I was asking myself if I should post about Indigo Children or not…Finally I decided to do so, for I believe this information might help some of my readers to understand their own nature and behaviour better.

Indigo children is a New Age concept developed by Nancy Anne Tappe describing children who are alleged to possess special traits or abilities. The concept was initially developed in the 1970s, gaining popular interest with the publication of a series of books in the late 1990s and the release of several films in the following decade. Beliefs about indigo children range from their being the next stage in human evolution, possessing paranormal abilities, to the belief that they are simply more empathetic and creative than their non-indigo peers. There is no science or studies that give credibility to the existence or traits of indigo children. Many children labeled “indigo” are diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.

When I first came across this theory a year ago (too late!) I realised that it explains absolutely everything in my behaviour, especially in my childhood.

What is an indigo Child?

  • They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it)
  • They have a feeling of “deserving to be here,” and are surprised when others don’t share that.
  • Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents “who they are.”
  • They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).
  • They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.
  • They get frustrated with systems that are ritually oriented and don’t require creative thought.
  • They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them seem like “system busters” (nonconforming to any system).
  • They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially.
  • They will not respond to “guilt” discipline (“Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did”).
  • They often posses some “paranormal” abilities.
  • They are aware of their mission of saving the world and they are sometimes too serious about it.

These children are often the older new children. They are rebellious, and want things done their way. They have new ideas and are here to bring down the old systems of thinking and doing on this planet. It is their mission. They are also here to make the planet safe for the more sensitive Crystal children to come in. They are often considered to have “warrior spirits”. They have unique gifts, high intelligence, remarkable spirituality, strong intuition, and intense willpower. As for physical characteristics, they have what are often called “old soul” eyes. They have deep eyes that are “grown-up” and full of wisdom. Indigo’s are commonly misdiagnosed as having ADD. This does not mean that every child with ADD is an Indigo child.

When I’ve read some sites on it (unfortunately often too esoteric), I just realised that is about me! (more…)

Where is paradise? August 30, 2009

Paradise is already here; what seems missing is the population.

What makes travelling by plane so special? August 28, 2009

Of all means of transport I love travelling by plane, and that is my big love since my early childhood. My excitement about flying is difficult to describe… I was always wondering what makes it so special?

On my last holiday trip I took a plane again and, taking pictures of magnificent landscapes I suddenly realised what makes the magic of flying to me:

1. From above we can have a totally different perspective to the Earth, to the places we love and live in. In a way it’s a shift in consciousness, like watching from somebody else’s eyes…We can suddenly see that our huge cities are so ridiculous small and that this is really NOTHING compared to the vast natural landscapes, mounts, seas, forests and deserts… What do we think of ourselves, that we can rule that nature??? The level of human ego and stupidity is the highest at that point.

2. Watching the wide horizon or the clouds play or the soft haze over the mountains, we can get entirely thoughtless –  the head clears out and thoughts stand still before the breathtaking views…

I wonder what my readers say about their own  experiences of flying by plane?

In the meanwhile, enjoy my recent pictures:

Birthday post August 26, 2009

I am back from my heavenly holidays with my favorite take away from this time  – the photo above – as my birthday present to all beloved readers. I have a strange habit of giving presents on the occasion of my birthday (at the same time I dislike getting presents).

I want to thank everyone for reading my blog, giving your wonderful and valuable feedback and sharing your opinion of different issues here. I have been blessed with the possibility of meeting people who read my blog in person – now and then it happens and it is such a joy-giving feeling!…

Thank you all, again and again.

LOADS of LOVE, axinia

A good HR question August 12, 2009

As a HR Manager I often face people who have lost /or never actually had their professional orientation.

Here is a good question to ask oneself about it:

It is an old story, but just tooooooo good, isn’t it?

P.S: many thanks to my dear friend swaps for sending it to me.

LOVE, axinia

English is the language of Spirit August 10, 2009

English has never been my favourite language.

I have been in love with German since my childhood. Luckily I was moved to Austria by the hand of destiny and now, since many years live surrounded by German-speaking people. I learned Italian and love its melody and joy-giving nature, and yet it has not become my favourite. My native language – Russian – is neither my best. I appreciate its richness and flexibility, but I am still most comfortable with German.

Despite all that, when it comes to the spiritual matters, either it is blogging about my experiences or a prayer, I want to express myself in English. (more…)
