the only truth I know is my own experience

~My Bucket List :) Wishing, Hoping and Attaining~ December 29, 2009

No, it is not my New Year Resolution. It is simply a nice tag a friend Sahaja has asked me to do.

I am not someone who likes to achieve goals. If I have a task to fulfill (say, a project), I will determinately follow it, but I do no “achieve” goals. I belive that the power of my Spirit  attracts the Matter and thus I get things done without much effort. Thus I enjoy drifting on the waves of the Ocean of Life and see where it takes me to.

If we do not speaks of goals but of dreams, I have a small list of four, which I would like to see happening in this lifetime:

1. Save the world. No kidding! 🙂 I think that I have enough potential and powers to make an impact on many people. And I know many people who are of the same type. So the good chances are that one day we’ll do the job!

2. After I get and bring up my own children, I want to become a Principal of a Private School and realize my long time dream of a new generation school system, bringing up the best people of tomorrow. I have this concept already in my head and I am sure one day I will get a chance to fulfill this beautiful vision!

3. I want to build a house with my own hands. No kidding! (imagine I can do that! :)) (more…)

Tag: all my jobs January 18, 2009

Nowadays it has become quite normal to change jobs often and to try many things out. Especially while studying young people take to all possible opportunities to earn some money or to get some additional qualification.

I just thought of making a funny tag on all the jobs I have ever done in my life. It is amazing, how life often plays with us and makes us do things we would never expect from ourselves…

So, this is my personal listing (chronologically, from the beginning of my adult life):

  1. photo-model
  2. teacher of English
  3. translator
  4. cleaning lady
  5. au pair girl
  6. cosmetician /make up artist
  7. kindergarten educator
  8. extra (in theater and films)
  9. journalist
  10. decorator
  11. event manager
  12. teacher of German
  13. trainer for intercultural communication
  14. interpreter for NATO
  15. assistant to director (in oil trading)
  16. key account manager (sales  in media)
  17. human resources manager (in wealth management)

These are all I could remember, because obviously I did not put everything on my CV 🙂 It was fun to do every single job and meet interesting people from all these fields. (more…)

Spontaneous Tag November 13, 2008

I was tagged by Sahaja with her own so called “Spontaneous Tag”: There are certain times in your day-to-day life when you do/react/answer to things spontaneously. There are times when they become utterly disastrous and times when they actually turn out to be awesome.

My answer will be also very spontaneous, but probably very common to many bloggers – at least every second blogpost is the totally spontaneous one! 🙂

What I mean is there are some posts, that come into my mind and have to dwell there for some time, while I am looking for more information on the topic.

But mostly my posts are very spontaneous, like the ones from yesterday on the female film role  – I just do something and the brilliant idea strikes me “yes! let’s post it” 🙂

I would say this blogging experience is a very creative and relaxing one (because when we act spontaneously, IT IS RELAXING). (more…)

The Expansionist Meme – or the things I never tried but may be will do June 17, 2008

northen lights by Kjell Arne Thomassen

Nita tagged me again (thanks!) – an interesting meme which forces one to “think out of the box”. I like the idea but the way the meme tries to encourage one to trying new things out “because of this meme” seems rather suspicious to me (NLP?)… So I did not like it at the first sight. At the second sight I saw some interesting points in there and I have done it!

Meme instruction: Please thoughtfully consider the following, and choose one item for each of the categories below. (Be sure to describe your reasons for choosing)

  • One religious work from a non-familiar tradition you’ll read:

Interesting question… Due to my spiritual practice of Sahaja Yoga I am familiar with all the religions traditions – in fact I am also practicing all of them! 🙂 I`ve read all the “main” religions books (Koran, Bible, Gita, Kabbala, some on Buddhism)  as well as many less known… These books are indeed great, but I want my personal experiences now.

  • One music video-that you like-from your “least likely to listen to’ genre:

No idea.

  • A book from a genre you almost never read, that you have read, or you will read (promise!):

I was a book-glutton once, now I hardly read a book per year 🙂 I guess I tried all possible styles already… I actually want to read a book written by a friend of mine! – for example by Nita or by Solveig, or any other friend of mine who will finally write one!! I think it is the best genre – books written by personal friends 🙂 (more…)

A blogging tag about some favourite things May 6, 2008

Nita got me! Normally I don’t follow these tagging games, most of the questions are either too silly or too ego-pumpering. But this bloggin tag seem to be OK. And although there is pretty much of my personal stuff here in my blog, it might be still interesting for some of you to peep deeper into my soul 🙂

I am happy to tag some bloggers who I think might like it: Arlene, Solveig , Radha, Bala, Steve  , Leela, and Edword

And here are my answers to the tag questions:

1. Last movie you saw in a theater?
I think it was The Golden Compass, and it was 5 months ago 🙂

2. What book are you reading?
None. No books any more.

3. Favorite board game?
None. Not my cup of tea.

4. Favorite magazine?
ZEIT WISSEN(in German), I love this beautifully done and captivating scientific report magazine! (more…)
