the only truth I know is my own experience

How to enjoy yourself during troubles July 17, 2012

The idea for this post came from my recent holiday experience where due to some technical problems many things went wrong and various difficulties had to be fought.

I noticed with surprise that despite the complicated situation I remained peaceful and yet dynamic and took right and benevolent decisions. Somehow I was not at all bothered, although at times the situation was a total disaster. At some point I realised that this is what my Guru Shri Mataji used to underline many a times: ” you have to enjoy yourself, then nothing can upset you”.  And I was indeed enjoying!

Since my life is in general free of problems, I seldome have a chance to experience it so clearly. However last week I was lucky enough to undergo a good test…  And I found out how easy it is, to enjoy myself in every situation. How did I reach this state? – no idea, most probably thanks to the years of meditaiton :).

White frost: when Nature is a painter January 1, 2011

The phenomenon of frost has been fascinating me since ever…it is so fragile and fine, and yet very powerful because it transforms the whole surrounding and makes a true masterpiece out of every leaf ( of cause any leaf is a masterpiece already, but we are used to their common look)!

It has been a long time dream of mine to capture this moment of white frost in the nature, and I am glad I finally got it! – althouhg, honestly, these images are so far from the real beauty the Mother Nature created and my eyes could see…

All these images I have taken on the 31st of December 2010 – my present to myself for the New Year 🙂

All humans to me are god-like Gods! April 21, 2010

All humans to me are god-like Gods!
My eyes no longer see
vice or fault.

Life on this suffering earth
is now endless delight;
the heart at rest, full,
overflowing.

In the mirror, the face and its reflection —
they watch each other;
different, but one.

And, when the stream pours into the ocean…
no more stream!

Can your Spirit control Matter? January 10, 2010

In one of my earlier posts The Magic of Materialism I tried to explain my feelings and observations on the Dualism of Matter and Spirit. This question if not a theoretical but a very practical one. How to find a balance between the two?  – since both Spirit and Matter are at the core of our existence.

I received many interesting comments on the topic and yet the main conclusion seemed to be “ok, matter is there and we all need it so no need to ask what to do about it”. Nobody, including me, has suggested that Spirit is more powerful than Matter when we do let it manifest. Somehow this simple and obvious thing did not come into my mind at that time. However watching my life and life of other people who live Spirituality, I can definitely say that Spirit overpowers Matter, and that – easily!

Before I list the examples, let me define Spirit (although that is rather an impossible task! ). To me it is the eternal part of a human being which is in a constant state of joy and light. The part, which is not possible to destroy by whatsoever bad/evil/unpleasant event or emotion. The part which is the purest and endless Love. The part that is always one with the Whole… If a person lives in that state, he/she can be called a spiritual person.

And because such a person lives in tune with the Universal Spirit,  it becomes quite possible to make an impact on  Matter.

Daily wonders” that are permanently being experienced by many people I know, as well as by myself:

  • healing of self and others (from a headache till incurable diseases)
  • improving the chemical and energetic quality of water and food
  • fast and miraculous solving of daily problems of all kinds
  • check if the person telling you something is actually telling the truth or cheating
  • take the most benevolent decisions
  • incredible coincidents and presence “at the right moment on the right place” (more…)

My Roman Holidays January 3, 2010

As every world city, Rome has its flair and very special style… I would call it MAGNIFICENT  – the word that came to my mind the first time I saw Rome many years back and now, having spent a week there I can confirm it. Magnificent – is the first and only word that comes to my mind when thinking of Rome’s beauty.

The weather was rainy most of the time, but even the clouds have been magnificent, making up a great background for the pictures…

I visited many historical places and as well as the modern parts. Interestingly, the Vatican looked as the darkest and most unfriendly place from all. I wonder how can people seek for God in there?

Please enjoy the pictures and thanks for the comments :)!

Slideshow: Winter in Vienna December 21, 2009

Finally a true winter feeling in Vienna – snow and -10 Degree Celsius! I love it. A snowy winter has its spell and it has been a rare gift in the recent years. Mostly we had warm, snowless winter times…

I made up a  slideshow of my recent photos  for you to share the joy:

Internet is my morning coffee December 7, 2009

As a B-person, I find it hard to wake up in the morning. I mean to fully wake up, not simply hang around like a somnambul.:)

Since I don’t drink coffee at home, I found a good way to wake my body up: INTERNET! My theory goes that the informational “coffee” first switches my brain on, and then the brain sends impulses to body to start working. Somehow or rather, it works well.

Checking Internet (my blog, emails and Facebook) right after brushing my teeth gives a good start for the rest of the morning procedures and  – interestingly! – does not disturb  my morning meditation which I usually do before leaving for work. In fact, meditation does the second part of waky-waky: it breaths live and powers into me, but this is another story…

I wonder what helps YOU to wake up?

😉 thanks,

‘I am in Love with Love…and Love is in Love with me.

My body is in love with the Soul….and the Soul is in love with my body.

I opened my arms to Love….and Love embraced me….like a lover..’

How to keep your head cool and clear December 3, 2009

It is true that since we start mediating and experiencing seconds or minutes of thoughtless awareness, it becomes easier to keep the head “lighter” also during the daily activities. But it is also true that if we do not overload our heads with mental tension caused by many outside and inside factors, it is easier to get into the thoughtless awareness state and generally keep a cool, light head any time.

Here is my personal lifehack on  how to keep one’s head cool in general, outside of the meditation time :).

1. FORGIVING POWER: I not only forgive easily, I just never feel offended. I understand that people will be people, they all have different ideas, and some have difficult lives or character…what to do? I just keep this very tolerant attitude to humans. You may like to read my post on forgiveness.

2. STAYING IN THE PRESENT I do enjoy every minute of my life. Naturally. Not because somebody told me “you have to enjoy”. One can enjoy everything, literally, even the stupidity. I also noticed that most of the time I am very much in the present. Surely I do plan or think of yesterday but this is not dominating. For example, I almost never miss people – when I am at work, I enjoy my colleagues, when I am at home -my husband, in my free time – my friends. They call it “living life fully”, right?

3. ATTENTION: I discipline my mind by asking every time I see it deviates from the present the question “Where is my attention now?”. It is a great question to ask oneself. My attention is the cool breeze on the top of my head. I see to it that I ALWAYS feel it (even if not always cool, but I must precept it. always).

4. BE THE WATER, NOT THE SPONGE: I do not allow the outside world to influence me much. (more…)
