As every world city, Rome has its flair and very special style… I would call it MAGNIFICENT  – the word that came to my mind the first time I saw Rome many years back and now, having spent a week there I can confirm it. Magnificent – is the first and only word that comes to my mind when thinking of Rome’s beauty.

The weather was rainy most of the time, but even the clouds have been magnificent, making up a great background for the pictures…

I visited many historical places and as well as the modern parts. Interestingly, the Vatican looked as the darkest and most unfriendly place from all. I wonder how can people seek for God in there?

Please enjoy the pictures and thanks for the comments :)!

Bella Italia May 6, 2009

Italy is the place that opens the heart, and that is mainly the reason why it remains one of the most favorite destinations worldwide. I mean most probably people are unaware of the Italy’s heart-opening quality.
And when the heart opens one sees beauty everywhere…And then it is also willing to re-produce it (just think of the great Italian artists!)…
Here are some little grasps of beauty that I captured in Italy this time:

The unknown talent of Leonardo da Vinci: story-telling September 9, 2008

Apart from being an absolutely outstanding personality, the great Leonardo da Vinici was famous for something, that got lost among his other brilliant and impressive talents like painting, science, inventing, music, etc. – namely for his very simple and wise fables, which he wrote in a similar vein to those of Aesop.

Almost five centuries after they were first penned some of Leonardo’s fables still exist and are told in the Tuscan countryside. Few people remember who was the author of these tales which were once told in the courts of France and Italy.

Leonardo`s fables are very short, but involve complicated ideas and each one focused briefly on dangers like greed, jealousy and selfishness, or the benefits of compassion, kindness, honesty and generosity. It should be noted that fables are written, not so much for the entertainment of children, but to impart wisdom to adults.

Here is one of them: (more…)

Awesome photos from my divine holidays July 23, 2008

When I came back from my truly divine holidays I found in my camera almost only the awesome shots of the sunsets, clouds and landscapes. Although I met a couple of thousands of people, my attention was obviously somewhere else…

Our life is full of manifestations of Divine. However it is the majestic pictures of landscapes or skyscapes that makes us understand the UNITY OF THE WHOLE. It does good to see that there is a life behind the clouds, that there are masterpieces of art and fantastic scenes beyond our knowledge and imagination. It is good to know that there is still so much to discover and to enjoy – and this is the secret story behind.

The story of never-ending DIVINE LOVE.

I was fascinated by that scenery, especially some minutes later when the cloud line became so exact. It felt like the huge dramatic curtain falling slowly from above – and the perfect peace of disillusion down there:

And what would you say about that? -the whole sky in vivid salmon lines:

That looks to me like a N. Roerich paint:

And what about that spectacular sunset?

There, in the depth of the sky, there are wings of angels resting on the clouds…

…and the veil-like path for those willing to walk on the clouds:

And, finally I was stunned to see such a perfect line above the clouds like the board of the Mother-Earth`s sari…

Italy is a great place for meditation May 10, 2008

Basically one can meditate everywhere, but there are some places where a good mediation can happen easier. My personal favourite has always been – of course! – India. I am in meditative state in India all the time (probably due to the long spiritual traditions of India and vibrations left after the huge number of sages and yogis thoughout the history).

Another country where I can enjoy powerful meditations is Italy. Despite its easy-going and superficial image worldwide, the country has one very important quality that leads to a good mediation: the joy, the heart-opening. How does it work?

I`ll be back! April 29, 2008

And again Italy, holidays… I guess it looks already suspicious. Not, I am not married to a Russian Mafia boss, and I am not working as a mystery shopper for hotels 🙂 I have a regular manager job, rather a hard one. And I have my good right for the nice holidays!

Anyway, my dear ones, I will not be posting one week again. This time my destination is Liguria, the mountain region in the North Italy – its divine beauty and peace…

Happy to share with you the joy and vibrations of my trip soon – follow my blogging!

LOVE and see you next week!
