I am blogging since 5 years already and this blog has almost 800 posts so far…quite a collection! I received a suggestion by a friend to make a book out of this blog. Honestly I was never thinking about it. But why not?
1000petals blog is so diverse, so many topics and pictures… what kind of book shall it be?
On the other hand, as far as I understand what people like most about this blog is my experiences and philosophical observations through my spiritual life. If I would make it a book concept then it shall be quote personal… – it is a good idea then?

why not di,a book containing spirituality in simple language alongwith beautiful sketches,pictures wd be helping people in search of their spiritual selves.ur blog has the right ingredients to fit into a book

No dought it is good idea but i am thinking about other aspects since last two days .
what could be printing cost because 1000 blogs means minimum 500 pages and in addition photos . for best photo’s printings you will require color atlas means it will be at least four color printing on photo paper . designing no matter you can get done with minimum cost and within short time so think with what cost the book will be available to readers ….
i agree with that many readers remain away from computers and many dont have internet still what I suggest along with hard copy you should publish soft copy which can be shared and read by many readers who can not afford hard copy … i expect you are having 10,000 regular readers so definitely you can think for minimum 10 % of its hard copy in initial stage or for first print …

last month we print institutional bro ushers of 8-10 foldable pages on photo print paper almost 500 copies with best quality , it costs for rs. 50000/- including graphing designing and transporting etc…

It’s a good idea. I suggest that you use Print on Demand publishing services. They print the book only after a person orders it and there is no upfront cost/minimum number of order copies, etc.
Perhaps, you should keep the book to one topic for it to have a topical appeal and try to give more in the book on the chosen topics, than what is present on the blog. Wishing you all the best for your venture…

At first I thought how do you make a blog into a book? ( I was thinking of typical literary styles like novels, stories, etc . But then I thought why not? Perhaps you could create a completely new literary style: the blog book ! Please go ahead Axinia, the world is so in need of spiritually inspiring books and films. It would be so inspiring and motivating to open a book full of your posts and beautiful photos.
