Everybody wants to be loved and loved by everyone. Today probably more than ever. All we do in order to become attractive, successful, powerful – all that is only aimed to get love, to become loved.
But if you ask a person especially the one who is trying hard to get love – “are you ready to love everyone?” – quests what the answer will be…
Yes, this is the paradox of Love:
Everyone wants to be loved by all, but not everyone is ready to love all.
Well, may be this is the main trouble with the mankind?

Love and the word should not compatible!
Any coercion destroys love!
Love each and every one can only perfect being. This could only God. Man is not capable of it. Man is mortal and vulnerable. But we can try to love everyone and grow spiritually. In the New Testament was written, as it can be done.

i am sure this is possible and also not that difficult. And tha frist spet to it is forgiveness. I feel that not being able to forgive is what actually blocks people from love. Other reasons too, but forgiveness is essential.
btw, forgiveness was the message of Christ but i am not sure that many Christzians do follow that.
Forgiving is good, but it is better not to judge.

Once we learn to love ourselves unconditionally, we can start loving others in the same unconditional way. We cannot wait to be perfect before we start loving ourselves, we cannot wait for others to be perfect before we love them. As long as we are hard to ourselves, we will be hard to others, and the love, that would otherwise flow out of our heart, gets stuck in the ego.
I think once we are ready to love ourselves, we stop being in need of the love of others ….. and it will flow! We certainly cannot force love. We have to let it happen – no conditions attached to it!
And, yes Axinia, I think this is the main trouble of mankind!
Perfection is a dead end. Perfection does not. Everything develops.

Totally agree with you Axinia. It is amazing all the things we human beings do to get love…trying desperately (or sometimes quite subtly ) to get others’ attention, to feel loved and valued. We are truely still like little , little children playing at living desperately in need of LOVE …
