  1. Tomas Says:

Your list eloquently depicts the miracle of meditation. I think, this list should be endless – Meditation is another name of prayer and it includes totally everything. What’s the most important, meditation free us from ourselves and thus gives true meaning to our life – restores the eternal values. In my concrete case, the meditation enables my Butterfly in Plaster to fly on the wings of the gratitude and do that literally.

thank you Tomas, your comment is very poetic!
However I think that prayer and meditation are not the same: prayer is when one speaks to God, and meditation when God speaks to the person.

I have been practicing SY for quite sometime.. sometimes very regularly and in excellence, sometimes not so regular.. but I have seen physically some points being true..my breathing rate is slow and so Is the heart rate..
Psychologically and spiritually I have seen lot of points being true for myself..
I hope I can get much deeper into it and get all the other spoken and unspoken benefits too.. 🙂
But whatever it is whenever I let off meditation take a backseat instead of it being part and parcel of my life, the normal mundane life with karma catches up and hits me hard enough to realise and get on right track again.. 🙂
Dear axinia, your blog and many other blogs which I discovered through your blog, has been the major contributors to keep me on track without hitting me hard but has gently caressed me into staying into this beauty. 🙂
Although I miss collectivity via SY centers, Ma has blessed many souls like me to get collective virtually to so many other beautiful spirits across, whom we might have never met or recognised but for the wonderful tool called internet and the wise blogs and inspiring blogs such as yours .. 🙂 thank you.. jsmji

  3. Mind power Says:

    Hi Axinia,

    had to google Dheas!

You’d think with all the benefits plus a few thousand years of research, testing and development, they’d make meditation compulsory in schools!

    We need it.

    All the best, Mic.
