Great! Yes, lots of photos please. I’ve never been to Russia but I’ve been immersing myself in Russian literature recently–Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy and I’ve been reading short stories by Gogol, Chekhov and Pushkin. Chekhov is very funny and the comedy can be quite black. ‘Misery’ is a story about a sledge driver whose son has just died. He looks for sympathy from his passengers but they are totally indifferent; all they care about is getting to their destination ASAP. The poor old man ends up talking to his horse in the end, very funny. Another funny, dark comedy is Gogol’s ‘The Overcoat’.
