Mountain
I see a mountain from my window
Standing like an ancient sage
Desireless, full of love.
So many trees and so many flowers
They plunder the mountain all the time.
It’s attention is not disturbed
And when the rain pours like
Many pitchers of clouds bursting
And it fills the mountain with greenery.
The storms may come soaring,
Filling the lake with compassion
And the rivers flow running down
Towards the calling sea.
The sun will create clouds and
Wind carries on its feathery wings
The rain on to the mountain.
This is the eternal play
The mountain sees
Without desires.
poem by Shri Mataji
If you love mountains so much, then you have landed in the right place – Austria 🙂
Axinia this image is beautiful, like a picture postcard. I must tell you though that when I saw it in my surfer a funny code appeared above it. But when I came here I didn’t see the code!
thanks, Nita, for the feedback – I think this funny code is the result of the “image by axinia” board, which is a sepcial feature done by WordPress. Probably I should not use it.
I use Google Reader – no problems with any funny codes.
so peaceful in here, axinia! wish to be at the exact place when my head is full of thoughts that can’t make me breath at times. i wanna feel the fresh air in this place.
btw, because you are such an inspiration not just by your photos but by your thoughts — here’s sth for you:
