Austria is like a painting November 14, 2007

It is not a picture of a painting –  I took this landscape photo on one of my last walks around Vienna, the capital of Austria.

Austria has been always fascinating me with its almost unreal, picturesque beauty: the nature itself seem to be somehow surreally perfect, as if made by some Vienna Opera setup master… The only country that seem to be more beautiful and more perfect to me is the Austrian neighbour, Switzerland.

The country of Mozart and Maria-Theresa (both absolutely exceptional personalities in the human history) gives a feeling of high comfort and beauty, balance and peace. Perfection without tension. Enjoyment without excitement. Like a cosy blanket.

Just come and see for yourself!

LOVE, axinia

You are right- Austria looks nice ( I never had been there and it don’t look I will have any chance to see that land, but I dot argue – the best country is where we live or what we enjoy at a moment)
You are lucky – you see the beauty. I cant say so about myself. I have heard that the sunsets looks nice, but they are needless to me IN CASE I haven’t anybody around to share what I see with.
I think Lithuania is much more exotic than any other country. You may find there as lots of rivers, as the lakes and the hills as the forest and empty fields, lots of old palaces and lonely huts… my country is wonderful IF YOU have somebody to share your joy at the landscape.

Tomas, I love Lithuania too – and it seem quite similar to Austria to me 🙂 There is that cosyness and softness too.
And I understand what do you mean by sharing the love for the place with somebody next to you… But it is even better to share it with everyone!

That’s why i keep inviting everybody i know to come to Hong Kong because this country-city feels much much cooler when i have more people to enjoy it with 🙂 Btw austria is so romantic, it feels like Italy too.

  6. […] I love Austria, the country of the inner and the outer harmony. […]
