the only truth I know is my own experience

In Love you know everything September 28, 2007

I wonder how many of you have experienced that phenomenon: knowing such endless lot about the persons we love!!This knowledge can be of two kinds (what I found out myself):

 1. Things we learn about somebody because we love that person and want to please him/her in any way

 2. Things we know spontaneously although we actually never learned about them! – 1000 of little or big things that we just intuitively know and then do. The first point is clear, and can be logically explained. The best manifestation of it is giving presents. Why does it happen that people give each other useless/ not desired presents? I believe the only reason is the lack of love. For in Love we know everything – we really know what the person likes and needs. Or at least we try to find it out!

The second point is truly fascinating… How often do we do things for the loved ones as if we could read their thoughts? Bring a cup of tea just before the person utters a wish about it; call the person up at the moment he/she desires that, and million of similar ones…

Imagine, what for world it would be if we all could love each other? Then we would truly know everything, dissolved into the ocean of love. Utopia?

LOVE, axinia

Your posts awaken always. Thank you for the wonderful question – the dream.
When I gaze at a wall, musings on life and the questions like what it could be in case it would be come on a surface and overfill the heart… In spite of that, the notebook expresses the longing colors and the picture becomes sad.
However, when my lips blossom forth with the cheerful ‘Hi!’, the miracle happens in a literal sense of a word – all shadows vanish from sight and totally everything become the light that gifts the wings – that’s what have happened as I came to your blog: the stranger’s concept have lost any sense – it would be just impossible to imagine such case in the world where all people love each other, and where the gratitude becomes our daily bread and one and only ruler.

This is such a beautiful post… when we love, we don’t only learn a lot about the person we love, we also discover more about ourselves that we were never aware of, and what love can actually make us do because we love!

I think real love is always expressed by people who are really deep.

When I get a gift of love, it doesn’t matter if I like the thing as such – it will always please me!
Children sometimes give “useless”, “worthless” things like a chestnut they found on the ground, a pretty pebble, a flower without stem, a “craft” like a piece of paper they folded and glued and taped …. How could we not love it!

When I started with Sahaja Yoga I thought: “If we all meditate and become one with our selves, there is no war possible anymore – it is the solution for all problems in the world!” The self is nothing but LOVE!
I now realize, that humans are funny – they might see the self and feel the love, yet they don’t always listen to the inner voice …. But we are getting there!

    Love

    Elke
