After developing my first blog ShaktiPower that is generally about woman and beauty I found out that there is still much more I want to share with the world. “1000 petals” means to me:
1000 wonderful, colourful petals on the FLOWER OF LIFE, and the opening of each brings some new freshness and beauty to the world…
1000 sweet, gentle and yet powerful petals on the FLOWER OF LOVE, and the opening of each promises new and news shades of the loving light…
1000 petals of Sahasrara, the seventh chakra on top of the head. Indian scriptures call it “1000 petal lotus”, modern medicine speaks about 1000 nerve endings of the brain…
LOVE, axinia

    Hi Axinia,

You have a very lovely site here. I share many of your feelings towards life….although not quite in such a beautiful and poetic manner.

I have two sites, I only just began a few weeks ago, but I’m starting to get the hang of of. I am going to put your link onto both of my blogrolls, if that is o.k. with you. I may even want to borrow a post or two of yours and “re-print” on one of my sites sometime. Giving you full credit of course. Let me know if that is o.k. — and thank you for sharing your site with me.

    Hi, Catherine,

Happy you liked it. Sure, you can use my blog for any purpose - in fact, I ahve never understood the “copy right thing”, as if I create something, I want to share - no matter under which name, what metters is that people can enjoy and use it ;)

I like your concept of “women4hope” - in that case you might be interested in my another blog

    http://shaktipower.wordpress.com/

which is dedicated to womanhood (seems to be even more suitable that 1000petals).

I will be happy to link to you also, if you dont mind!

Thanks, and if I do use something of yours I will give you full credit on my site, and also let you know what I have used.

I will check out both of your sites. Thanks.

    Dear Axinia,

Here is a petal from Carl Jung:

“Learn your theories as well as you can,
but put them aside when you touch
the miracle of a living soul.”

    Sat Chit Anand to you,
    John

Thank you, John, I am fond of Jung as well - such a great soul he was!

Face is the index of a personality, they say. This face sure points towards a nice personality out there.

Thank you, Diogenes, for this compliment :)
On my “Shaktipower” blog there is an interesting discussion about facial beauty reflecting the inner nature:

you are very much welcome to drop by anytime.
I pick that name “sunshine for life” because i want to always live that happy disposition inspite how gloomy life could be at times. Talking or writing to reach out is one way to make me smile — it makes me forget my cares. >> have a nice day. :)

Live7n, thanks for your high appreciation! I love indian style and philosophy (though i believe every culture has its own beauty), I hope only Indians will keep it up and do not loose under the western inflence…

  21. 21 Live7n September 2, 2007 at 2:27 pm

I am very pleased as you reply. and inspired also. 1000petals inspired Live7n for a indian living with a bright reflection of the western inflence without forgetting the origin

Axinia, I couldnt help but notice your “vedanta philosophy”. And in answer to your “I hope only Indians will keep it up and do not loose under the western inflence…”, I as an Indian feel that it is already so..

At the moment there are a few good people out there, but the rest of us are buried in corporate greed.. Progress is not bad, but cloned progress without an individual stamp is a little sad.

Thats how mighty nations (cultural not physical) collapse I guess.. As an expatriate, i finally know how many things I took for granted while I was in India.

I love your blog, and am adding you to my blogroll..

  28. 28 axinia January 2, 2008 at 9:41 am

hallo, Lakshmi and welcome! I am glad you apreeciate my site - you have a lovely and very well done one two.
