I want to be smaller,
Like a dust particle
Which moves with the wind
It goes everywhere,
can go,
Sit on the head of a king
Or can go
And fall at the feet of someone
And it can go
And sit everywhere
But I want to be a particle of dust
That is fragrant,
That is nourishing
That is enlightening.
Poem by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi at the age of 7.

Wow what a lovely poem!
particle of dust reminds me of grain of sand in William Blake’s poem…
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
Went through the biography of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi from the link, its really so amazing and truly inspiring!
Such a wonderful poem of Blake! – he was great soul…
Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi is the greatest spiritual personality living today – she is not only teaching, as many. She gives the en-mass Self-Realisation which has never been done before!
That poem would be even greater if it had a music to song.
dmitra,
so you can create the melody?
